Deep Slumber

Laid back in an array of flashbacks,
shuffling through my astir mind’s
eyes, gathering series of nostalgic
sketches of tales webbed in .

Pristine images of a long race,
willfully determined to cross
the rocky pools of a prejudiced
order, in abiding disharmony relayed.

Endured in the leftovers of an unknown
ceasing flare, tumbled in day and night.
Mulishly closed my eyes, rewinding
the unsung melodies of my lost reveries .

Stayed alive anticipating the seasons
to advance boost my endurance.
Seconds ticked in celebration
Knowing pearls will be consoling
me on  awaking from this deep slumber.
