A Gypsy

In this vagabond,
disguised as a gypsy
drifted away from
the realities of the
land of a rising sun.
Refugee in a pirated
shed out of autumn
leaves,indebted in
this transient shelter.
All benchmarks crossed
on this road to nullity.

Rubbing my burning
eyes,strolled  in the
dusty lanes in search
of a song forgotten
in this treacherous
journey,as still vague
memories of the taste
of our kiss remains
hidden in my fading
thoughts about you.

Searching your hazy
face a midst the clouds,
unconsciously wandered
door to door in the
abandoned streets for
 alms in despair.
Stood astonished adopting
an armor of valor
achieved as an accolade,
conquering the timidity
once draped in honor.

Forfeited life in
search of graves
hiding rotten treasures.
In perplexity stayed
alert for an access
to those lanes beyond
dusty tombs of existence.
Happiness envied the
blooming blues in
the bed of my ruins…
